Dies ist ein erster kleiner Prospekt (natürlich noch in Englisch) oder auch nur ein Datenblatt für den ganz neuen südamerikanischen Markt, den Heinz Schleusner ab 1961 von Peru (Lima) aus aufgebaut hatte.
Der Markt für solche Platten-Schneid-Maschinen war dort deutlich kleiner als bei uns in Deutschland (West), weil einfach (damals wie auch heute) der Wohlstand fehlte.
Und als ab Ende 1963 die neue Philips CC-Kassette den Durchbruch anstrebte (eher ab 1965/1966), war in Süd- und Mittelamerika die Langspielplatte und auch die Single beinahe "gestorben".
Die Platten (und die Abspielgeräte) waren einfach zu teuer und man konnte auch nicht aufnehmen bzw. duplizieren. Die Qualität der Musik spielte in diesen Ländern keine große Rolle.

The AM 131 DISK CUTTING LATHE meets the demands of the disk recording industries for a medium priced, high quality lathe for the cutting of instantaneous laquers and all maste : for the production of phonograph records.
The design of the AM 131 is based on the experience of several decades and is executed by the finest machinists in Western Germany.

- THREE-SPEED SYNCHRONOUS MOTOR DRIVE without belts, gears, or chains; l6 2/3 rpm electronic converter available as optional equipment.
- THE 65 lb. (32 Kilo) TURNTABLE FLYWHEEL smoothes out all wow and flutter; oil coupled to the drive shaft; no solid connection between motor and turntable.
- THE 16" VACUUM-CHUCK TURNTABLE has switchable air valve; prevents hissing through unused holes when using small acetate blanks; quiet operation.
- STEP-GEAR PITCH CHANGE and interchangeable gear trains provide pitch from 84 to 447 lines per inch.
- CUTTERHEAD SUSPENSION complete with dash pot with variable damping adjustment.
- AUTOMATIC CUTTER LIFT at correct pre-determined inner end-groove diameter; adjustable for the three speeds according to RIAA, DIN, or other standards.
- AUTOMATIC CUTTER LIFT when lead screw is disengaged; positively prevents destruction of stylus due to cutting into aluminum.
- HEATED STYLUS METERING on lathe unit; calibrated amperes.
- DC HEATED STYLUS; heating built-in and automatically switched off when cutter lifts.
- ILLUMINATED 80 POWER MICROSCOPE moves with cutterhead transport giving "standing still" image of grooves; calibrated reticle.
- LEAD-IN and LEAD-OUT GROOVES may be deepened easily.
- FULL VACUUM COLLECTION and tubing provided: chip jar, vacuum distribution valve, chip removal pipe, vacuum-chuck connection, all tubing.
